It looks like California could see a November 2010 vote to decriminalize the ganjarama. Not just medical style either, for just gettin' high purposes too. They call it the Tax and Regulate Initiative, which sounds like two things I don't like done to my weed, having it taxed and regulated. I like it the way it is.

Anyway, the T&RI has more than 680,000 signatures to make the ballot in 2010, according to the group. The petition was carried out by a professional group and is supported, in part, by Richard Lee. Lee owns Oaksterdam University and Coffeeshop Blue Sky, both Oakland, CA based ganja businesses.
I have to support it with my vote, because it is right. Its right that something that people love, is relatively harmless, (contrasted with other things like driving, football, drinking alcohol, cocaine, eating the average American diet, etc.) should be legal and taxed. When things are legal people are generally safer from scammers and criminals, poor quality and other stuff like that. There is also the danger of corporate monopolization and control, which would suck. Hey Mr. Lee, keep control brother, keep control for the stoners. Don't pull an Obama and switch sides for money.
Its sorta one of those silly things we all pretend we don't do or never did for the one prick in the room who might get offended, but who probably smoked it too in college. Why do we do that? So vote this in, its pretty harmless, will generate tons of jobs and taxes.
And remember kids, I smoked weed before I drank alcohol because we couldn't buy the alcohol.
