Beginner's Guide to Smoking: Buds
This guide is for people who are old enough to understand the legal ramifications of using a scary drug that could possibly melt your mind and leave you irreparably damaged... AND that is most likely illegal where you live. I blog from a platform in international waters where I grow cannabis on barges and wear sunglasses all day and fornicate with my many lovers; but for you, just be warned.
This guide is also for beginners, so none of this Blue Bubbleberry, White Widow, the Bud that Killed Elvis talk, clear? I contend in my easy to use chart below, that essentially there are two types of bud, obviously there is a spectrum, but these are the exemplars. On another note, one fuels a murderous drug war being waged daily on our borders while the other COULD fuel California's economy, but I digress.
Beginners Guide to Smoking: picking buds
Mexican Brick weed is so bad because it is usually grown unattended and with little care, it is usually not cured properly, if at all; it is squeezed as tight as can be for easier evasion of the US Border Patrol and other agencies and even other criminals. It can sometimes sit in cars/warehouses/trucks for months or years, cooking away, rotting.
By contrast, most good weed is grown in the US by knowing farmers who produce genetically selected and properly cared for specimens. It is cured properly and packed somewhat loosely in bags, as opposed to compressed into bricks. California's bid to legalize weed is rolling so help end prohibition/support of the drug cartels and their shitty weed.
