Cash Flow Chart for marijuana in CACash Flow Chart for marijuana in CANormally here on Ganjarama we like to discuss things tht aren't important to anyone. But today we are putting down the pipe to discuss some serious by-products of our crappy weed prohibition. Yesterday, 16 people were killed in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. This town has been a war zone over the last few years as gangs, law enforcement and cartels battle for control of the entryway where millions of dollars of drugs enter the United States. It is estimated that half of the drugs coming in is marijuana. I guess you could argue that all the Americans who choose to smoke pot are to blame, but I would argue that the law does not represent the American patterns of life.

420: toke up folks.420: toke up folks.Today is April 20. Also known as 4:20, the most important date on the stoner calendar. Why? No one is sure. The leading rumor is that these California kids used to meet everyday after school at 4:20 for a joint. From their humble circle grew the larger stoner circle in which we all pass the Dutchie. It is said to be at San Rafael High School where this legendary group sparked their doobs way back in 1971. Personally, when I want to burn, I burn. I don't wait for 4:20 PM or April 20, but when the world burns, I burn. So... (packs bowl, flicks lighter and inhales) to those who are about to roast, I salute you. Now that I am stoned to the bejeezes, I am ready for the holiday.

Eat me!Eat me!As a long-time marijuana enthusiast and new resident of California, I am tickled pink about the upcoming ballot to legalize and have been yearning to get involved in the business of medical marijuana, like so many others. I recently came across an ad seeking a Baker of gourmet ganja brownies, cake, pastries, and truffles and immediately replied, citing my culinary skills, experience, and enthusiasm. This led me to do some research on baking with mary jane, because while I have enjoyed pot brownies in the past, I have never made any and have always wondered how it is done. This is what I found out.

Reefer Madness: on the November ballot!!Reefer Madness: on the November ballot!!As a pot connoisseur I thought it would be very important to take a real look at the ballot measure up this November in California that would legalize the herbs on a state level for the people of Cali. So I smoked a big bowl of some mediocre Humboldt brick, and dug in. The Initiative would amend and add to various existing laws relating to Health, Crime and Commercial laws. These are my findings:

    http://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/ballot-measures/qualified-ballot-measure...

    The Facts of this Initiative.

    -          Legal age to use pot: 21+

    -          A person may possess, process or transport no more than one ounce.

4:20 support Andy Ward's art every day4:20 support Andy Ward's art every dayYa know, people have been saying completely untrue things about me ever since I joined John on the trail those years ago. Well, every once in a while I have to do my best to clear the air and speak for myself so the media doesn't get the last word about my incredibly nuanced life. I've stepped into the fray to tell everyone once and for all that I indeed do not keep a bin of dungeness crabs with me wherever I go to use in some bizarre sex ritual. I went on record explaining that my hatred for the entire nation of Taiwan has nothing to do with racism and everything to do with a faulty plastic toy that rendered significant (though potentially temporary) neurological damage to my seven-year-old self. Today I must once again stand in defense of my own unassailable character because of the broad and thoroughly incorrect assumptions of that good-for-nothing liberal Steve Fox. Not only am I in support of the full legalization of marijuana, I would gladly speak on behalf of Nevadans for Sensible Marijuana Laws not for $25,000, but completely pro bono.
